Cutter paces women at UNK Loper Open

2008 UNK Loper Open Women's Results

Freshman Margot Cutter finished 15th out of 77 collegiate runners to lead the women's cross country team to an eighth-place finish at the University of Nebraska-Kearney Loper Open on Saturday morning at the Kearney Country Club in Kearney, Neb.

 Colorado College finished with 158 points, 28 points behind seventh place Northern State University, but well ahead of Colorado State University which had 269. CC was the only Division III program in the Division II meet.
 
Cutter paced the Tigers for the fourth time in five events, finishing the 6-kilometer race in a season-best time of 24:05.10.
 
Kate Aitchison was 24th with a time of 24.40.60, while Emily McCarthy also came home in under 25 minutes with a time of 24:57.60.
 
Claire Daniel took 41st place with a time of 25:30.10, while Molly McGee's time of 25:39.50 was good for 45th.
 
Colorado College will return to action on Oct. 25 when the Tigers travel to Winfield, Kan., for the Southwestern College NAIA Mid-States Classic.
 
The Tigers will have a week off before travelling to Winfield, Kan., for the Southwestern College NAIA Mid-States Classic on Oct. 25.
