CC struggles against No. 4 UW-Stevens Point

Colorado College shot just 34 percent from the floor and committed a season-high 28 turnovers as No.4 University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point cashed in for a 92-50 victory at the 2010 D3Hoops.com Classic at the South Point Hotel and Casino.

The Tigers trailed 10-0 before Ryan Milne canned a pair of free throws 3:51 into the game and CC went almost another five minutes before Brady Ohlsen added two more charity tosses. Ohlsen reached double figured for the eighth time in nine games 13 points and moved into sole possession of 14th place on CC's career scoring list with 1,035 points.

The defending national champions had already built a 21-point lead by the time Ian Rewoldt scored Colorado College's first field goal with 8:04 remaining in the first half. Rewoldt finished with a career-high 13 points.

The Pointers scored 20 points of 16 Colorado College turnovers while building a 45-23 halftime lead.

Jerrel Harris paced UWSP with a game-high 19 points, while Tyler Tillema added 10. All 15 Pointers scored at least one point.

The Tigers made just two of 15 shots from behind the arc for a season-low .133 percentage.

Jake Tramutolo tied his season high with eight points during 33 minutes of action.

Colorado College faces another stiff challenge on Wednesday when the Tigers face undefeated Whitworth University at 6 p.m.
