Colorado College saw 93 of its student-athletes earn spots on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom during the 2010 spring semester.
The distinction honors athletes who post a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the semester while competing in a sport sponsored by the SCAC.
The conference champion men's lacrosse team had the most competitors recognized with 18, while the men's swimming and diving squad had the highest percentage of its roster honored with 13 of 16 (.813) participants on the list.
The women's swimming and diving team was second in each category with 14 of its 19 (.737) members receiving recognition.
Twelve CC student-athletes earned all-conference accolades for their accomplishments in both competition and the classroom. They are, in alphabetical order: Carson Christman (men's lacrosse), Jordan DeGayner (men's swimming and diving), Brad Dsida (men's track and field), Zach Hoisington (men's lacrosse), Chris Kolodey (men's lacrosse), Dan Kraft (men's track and field), Chris Love (men's lacrosse), Becky Luetjen (women's basketball), James Mauck (men's lacrosse), Brittney Moore (women's track and field), Brady Ohlsen (men's basketball), and Andrew Wagner (men's track and field)
Conference-wide, a record 1,090 student-athletes earned a spot on the Spring Academic Honor Roll. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, more than 16,600 student-athletes have been recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom.
