Colorado College advanced to the semifinals of the 2013 Conference USA Championship by defeating the University of Tulsa, 4-2, on penalty kicks after the teams played to a 2-2 overtime tie on Wednesday.
The Tigers will play East Carolina in the first of two semifinal matches on Friday at 4:30 p.m. CT. The Pirates advanced with a 1-0 victory in overtime against UTEP.

Vandersluis evened the score in the 38th minute with her sixth goal of the season. She moved up to 19th place on CC's career list with 47 points.

Colorado College finished with a 19-14 advantage in total shots, while the Golden Hurricane recorded a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.

The Tigers improved to 13-4-2 and 4-5-2 all-time at the C-USA tournament.
Hayley Harryman stopped five shots for Tulsa, which finished the season with an 11-7-3 record.
