Eric Houska hit a jumper 6:43 into the contest, however the next seven minutes belonged to the Warhawks and freshman guard Zach Knobloch.

Knobloch knocked down four consecutive shots from behind the arc to ignite the surge that propelled the hosts to a commanding 40-18 lead with 6:14 remaining in the first half.

CC answered with six straight points to trim its deficit to 16 on a jumper by freshman forward
CooXooEii Black, but Whitewater scored the final five points of the half to build a 51-30 lead after 20 minutes.

The Tigers pulled to within 68-53 when freshman guard
Sean Stem dialed long distance with 11:13 to play, but that proved to be as close as Colorado College would get.

Chris Martin scored 15 points apiece to lead CC. Junior forward
John Hatch and Stem also reached double figures with 10.

Yiannis Margetis led the Tigers with a career-high six rebounds, while Houska tied his career high with eight assists.

Knobloch, who went 7-for-13 from three-point range, led the Warhawks with a game-high 23 points. Junior guard Chris Jones added 13 points and four assists.
