Box Score Colorado College got off to a fast start, but the University of Wisconsin-Platteville found its stride midway through the first half and pulled away for 77-58 victory on Saturday night at Bo Ryan Court.

However, UWP tied the game three seconds later and then took the lead for good when Trey Sigel blocked a shot and went coast-to-coast for a layup. Â
After CC pulled to within 29-23 on a jumper by freshman forward
CooXooEii Black with 6:27 remaining in the first half, the Miners went on a 18-9 run to extend their lead to 15 points after 20 minutes.

Chris Martin trimmed the Colorado College deficit to 56-42 with 12:50 to play, but that was as close as the visitors would get.

Sophomore guard Robert Duax scored a game-high 16 points for UWP, which improved to 3-0.
Junior forward Jake Showalter recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Pioneers finished with a 48-24 advantage on the glass, which resulted in a 16-8 edge in second-chance points.
They also made 17 of 21 free-throw attempts, while the Tigers connected on just 10 of 17.
Colorado College (0-2) visits Division II Regis University on Monday, Nov. 21, before returning home to host the 2016 Rocky Mountain Thanksgiving Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
