2011-12: Named one of 12 district finalists for a 2012 Rhodes Scholarship ... Earned a spot on the podium with an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke (2:00.90) at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships … Also finished 13th in the 100 back with a time of 56.67 … Swam the backstroke leg for the 400 medley relay team that finished 11th 3:38.60 … Earned a fourth cosecutive appearance on the SCAC’s Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.

2010-11: Established personal bests in the 100 and 200 backstroke events at the SCAC Championships his junior year … Touched fifth in the 200 back with a time of 1:57.22 at the SCAC Championships … Helped his team take fourth in the 400 medley relay at the conference championships … Placed sixth in the 200 and 10th in the 100 back at the Colorado College Classic ... Named to the SCAC's Honor Roll for the third time.

2009-10: Set personal bests in the 100 and 200 backstroke competitions his sophomore year during the SCAC Championships … Placed fifth in the 200 back and 10th in the 100 back at the SCAC Championships … Swam on the 400 medley relay and the 200 free relay teams that took third and seventh, respectively at the conference championships … Earned a spot on the SCAC’s Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.

2008-2009: Finished fifth in the 100 and 11th in the 200 backstroke events at the SCAC Championships as a freshman.
