The Student Athlete Advisory Committee hosted the sixth annual Show of Talents in Armstrong Hall’s Kathryn Mohrman Theatre on April 2.
Each varsity Tiger team was represented with an act. The event was emceed by Christian Kitchen '19 (men’s tennis), Johannes Mansson '19 (men's swimming), Kelli Sullivan '19 (women's soccer) and Quin Gattey '19 (men's track and field). Music, dancing, and comedy sketches filled the program.
Ultimately, the men's and women's track and field/cross country teams left with the Dougie Cup after a well choreographed Irish step-dance routine. Women's lacrosse sang its way to second place with a cover of the Vance Joy song "Rip Tide" and the men's and women's swimming and diving teams took third place with their version of "High Hopes" featuring jump rope and tumbling routines.
Once again, The Show of Talents brought all the Tigers together for one extremely fun evening. A big thank you to all those in attendance, especially those participating in the acts!
Proceeds from ticket sales benefited SAAC and will help cover costs for the Golden Awards banquet.
