Brad Butterworth is in his first season the Colorado College staff and first in the collegiate ranks. His responsibilities will include national recruiting, on-court instruction, scouting of opponents, practice and game preparation, and scheduling. 

Butterworth spent the last five seasons at Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, Calif., and led the Dolphin program to unprecedented success. Under Butterworth’s guidance, Dana Hills posted a 20-8 season during the 2003-2004 year which broke the school’s record for victories in a single season. He also helped the Dolphins earn their best CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) seed in its 33-year history led them to the quarter-finals of the CIF playoffs. 

Butterworth’s teams won five pre-season tournaments, including three in the 2003-04 season, and during the 2004-05 season, the Dolphins brought home the coveted World Youth Basketball Tournament Championship home from Maui, Hawaii. 

Butterworth and his wife, Jessica, reside in Colorado Springs along with their three children - Jaide (7), Kai (4) and Bralen (2).
