Colorado College Athletics

Ron Abeyta, who has coached high school and club basketball in the Colorado Springs area since 1996, enters his fifth season as an assistant coach at Colorado College for the 2013-14 season. 

Abeyta will focus his efforts on individual skill development, recruiting and assisting Head Coach Andy Partee with developing practice plans, formulating scouting reports and overall game preparation.

Abeyta helped lead Mitchell High School to an Elite 8 finish in 2008-09, and also coached state tournament teams at Coronado High School (2003-04) and St. Mary’s High School (2001-02).

He continues to coach his Colorado Kings club teams in national and junior college tournaments, and also is high school basketball official in Colorado.
