Biography

2012: Senior  set personal record with time of 1:01.27 in 400 hurdles and season-best in 3K steeplechase (10:08.89, fifth place) at SCAC Championships.
2011: Taber posted season bests of 4:22.37 in the 1,500 meters at the University of Colorado Inviational on April 9 and 10:04.45 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Concordia (Neb.) Invitational on April 16 of his junior season...his 1,500 time also was a personal record.
2010: After completing an internship in Washington D.C. during the fall semester of his sophomore year, Taber earned CC's “Most Inspirational” award due to his commitment over winter break, as well as his perseverance and ability to lead the team's steeplechase contingent in three of four meets.
2009: As part of CC's amazing freshman steeplechase trio, Taber dropped his time from a 10:28 at Fort Hays to a PR of 10:09 at the Grinnell Invitational, then finished fifth with a 10:15.64 at the SCAC championships.

Before Colorado College: A 2008 graduate of Coronado High School, where he ran cross country and track, Taber earned first-team academic all-state honors twice in each sport during his prep career...qualified for the state meet as a member of the
4x800 relay team at University High School during his sophomore year.
