2010: Recorded a personal-best 5:22.27 at the New Mexico Invitational.

Before Colorado College: Harkins earned a total of 11 varsity letters at Villa Walsh Academy in New Jersey, where she played lacrosse in addition to running cross country and track during her prep career...a national merit scholar who earned all-conference recognition as a high-school athlete.
