The Colorado College men's cross country team finished in 18
th place at the Fort Hays State Open Saturday in its final tuneup before defending its title at the 2015 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in three weeks.

Junior
Conor Terhune led the team for the second consecutive race by finishing in 110
th place with an 8k time of 27 minutes, 4.6 seconds, while senior
Tucker Hampson ran a season-best 27:31 to finish 130
th. Freshman
David Eik continued his outstanding inaugural season by finishing third on the team and 139
th overall with a time of 27:38.8.

Sophomores
Ethan Holland (27.52.6) and
Cole Thompson (28.25.1) rounded out the official scoring for the Tigers by finishing 147
th and 158
th, respectively.

Adams State took home the team title with 70 points, four better than Western State.

The Tigers will try to defend their SCAC title on Saturday, Oct. 31, in McKinney, Texas.
