The Colorado College men's cross country team opened its 2015 season Saturday at the 22
nd annual Joe Vigil Invitational in Alamosa, Colo. The Tigers finished in sixth place and were led by freshman
David Eik, who placed 32
nd individually and completed the 8K course in 28 minutes, 40.22 seconds

Jacob Rothman had the second-best time for the Tigers, posting a 28:53.33, good for 35
th place overall. Sophomore
Ethan Holland finished 42
nd (29:59.58), while junior
Ezra Coopersmith (43
rd / 30:00.57) and freshman

th / 30:19.92) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers.

"Our front guys ran pretty well today," said head coach
Ted Castaneda. "We are just getting off the ground with some injuries and hopefully we will be much stronger by the end of the month."
