The Colorado College men's swimming team finished fourth at the CC Classic, which wrapped up Sunday at Schlessman Natatorium. The University of Colorado captured the meet with a score of 871 points, followed by Adams State (440), McMurry University (415), CC (382) and Colorado School of Mines (346).

"Today was quite an exciting close to the CC Classic," head coach
Anne Goodman James said. "Our team truly showed its toughness by the ability to repeatedly get up and swim fast."Â

Junior
Crane Sarris posted CC's best finish of the day with a second-place showing in the 50-yard freestyle race. His time of 22.22 seconds was just .2 behind meet winner Loki Hondorf of Colorado.

"Crane continued to show his strength in the sprint events today," Goodman James said.

Freshman
Ethan Schick was also impressive on Sunday with a season-best time of 54.75 in the 100 butterfly, good for third place. He also swam a season-best time of 23.13 seconds in the 50 freestyle.

In the lone relay race of the day, sophomores
Ian Carey and
Dennis Zhang and freshmen
Johannes Mansson and
Drew Ceglinski posted a fifth-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle race.

Also finishing in the top 10 on Sunday were sophomore

th in the 400 individual medley), senior
Yueyang Yu (7
th in the 200 breaststroke), Mansson (8
th in the 200 freestyle) and freshman Nate Goodman (8
th in the 1650 freestyle).
