Colorado College diver Mary Rose Donahue posted a couple of top-five finishes this weekend at the Grinnell Invitational in Grinnell, Iowa.
 
Donahue, a sophomore from Lake Forest, Ill., placed second in the 3-meter competition Friday night with 388.35 points, just 2.7 shy of meet winner Monica Hauck of Nebraska-Omaha.
 
On Saturday, Donahue finished fourth in the 1-meter event with 367.5 points.
 
"Mary Rose performed very well against some tough competition from all three divisions this weekend," diving coach Ellen Walker said. "It was great to be here and dive on the boards we will be using at NCAA Regionals next month."
 
Donahue and the rest of the CC swimming and diving teams will compete next at the SCAC Championships beginning Feb. 10 in Lewisville, Texas.
