Terhune Finishes 11th in Steeplechase

Junior Conor Terhune posted Colorado College's best result Friday at the KT Woodman Track and Field Classic in Wichita, Kansas.
 
Terhune scored CC's only points of the day with an 11th place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase race. He crossed the finish line in 10 minutes, 23.14 seconds. Freshman Greg Williamson finished 32nd in the 800-meter race, followed by sophomore Ethan Holland in 36th place.
 
Freshman David Eik had the team's best time in the 5,000-meter race at 15:41.85, while sophomore Alex Peebles-Capin was the only Tiger to run in the 1,500-meter race.
 
The Jack Christiansen Meet scheduled for Saturday, April 16 in Fort Collins, Colo., has been cancelled due to an impending snow storm.
 
The Tigers will compete next at the SCAC Championships in Seguin, Texas, April 22-23.
