The Colorado College women's track team posted several impressive results Friday at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita, Kansas.

Several distance runners made the trip to Wichita and three of them finished in the top 10 of their respective races. Freshman Alyssa Warling finished third in the 5,000-meter race in a time of 18 minutes, 6.56 seconds. Junior
Katie Sandfort followed in fifth place with a time of 18:22.26. Freshman
Kate Matlin also ran the 5K and finished in 18
th place.

Stefani Messick also recorded a top 10 result with a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter race. She crossed the finish line in a time of 2:21.87, followed by sophomores
Duranya Freeman in 12
th place (2:25.47) and
Corey Luna in 21
st (2:29.74).

th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, while freshman
Leah Veldhuisen, sophomore
Patty Atkinson and senor

th, respectively, in the 1,500-meter race.

The Jack Christiansen Meet scheduled for Saturday, April 16 in Fort Collins, Colo., has been cancelled due to an impending snow storm.

The Tigers will compete next at the SCAC Championships in Seguin, Texas, April 22-23.
