Katie Sandfort led the Colorado College women's track and field team by finished first and second, respectively, in the 5,000-meter race Saturday at the CSU Pueblo Pack Classic in Pueblo, Colo.

Warling won the race, which consisted of several Division II runners, in a time of 18 minutes, 35.48 seconds, followed by Sandfort in 18:48.23. Freshmen
Rebecca Goldman and
Kate Matlin finished sixth and 11
th, respectively.

Junior
Stefani Messick posted a fourth-place finish in the 800-meters with a season-best time of 2:22.21, followed by sophomore
Duranya Freeman in ninth place with a time of 2:28.39.

Freshman Julianne Stanley recorded an impressive sixth-place finish in the javelin with a toss of over 95 feet, more than seven feet longer than her previous best. Â

Ayla Loper, reduced its season-best time by nearly 20 seconds with a time of 4:18.39 on Saturday.

"We had a god day today," head coach
Ted Castaneda said. "We set a number of season-best times and gave us a good boost for the rest of the season."
