Kyle Sherrin scored a pair of goals during the final 15 minutes as Birmingham Southern came from behind to steal a 2-1 victory over Colorado College on Friday night in Birmingham, Ala.
Jordan Reese staked the Tigers to an early lead when he ripped a shot from the left side into the upper right corner in the 18th minute, but that was the only ball CC would get past Panther goalkeeper Clint Lum.
Ben Hancock had five shots and Reese finished with four, but Colorado College was unable to capitalize on numerous scoring opportunities to take control of the game.
Shrerrin tied the game in the 75th minute when he scored off of a Tyler Evans corner kick, and then put BSC ahead for good just over 10 minutes later after taking a feed from Tony Crocker.
Andy McGhie stopped six shots for the Tigers, while Lum finished with five saves.
Colorado College saw its record to slip to 9-9-1, while Birmingham-Southern improved to 11-4-2. Games against the Panthers don't count in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings because BSC is still making the transition from Division I to Division III.
The Tigers play their final game of the 2009 season on Sunday at Millsaps College.
