Lindsay, White win twice in loss to Centre

Despite another impressive performance by Will Lindsay and Zach White, Colorado College dropped a 6-3 decision to Centre College on Sunday morning to finish eighth at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Burns Park in North Little Rock, Ark.

Lindsay and White posted an 8-4 victory at No. 3 doubles to keep the Tigers within striking distance heading into singles play. The duo finished the tournament with a 3-1 record, losing only against No. 14 Trinity.

White squared his SCAC singles record at 2-2 with a win at No. 6 singles, while Lindsay notched his first victory of the tournament at No. 5 singles. Scores were not available.

Nate Burt dropped a 7-5, 7-6 decision against Ben Newstadt in the most exciting match of the day.

Colorado College completed the tournament with a 1-3 record and finished the season with a 10-13 mark.
