Colorado College won five of six singles matches to post a 6-3 victory over Metropolitan State College on Thursday afternoon.
The match was in doubt until Evan Jonker and Thomas Modern survived third-set super tie-breakers at No 2 and 4 singles, respectively.
Jonker clinched the match with a 6-2, 3-6, 10-5 victory that squared his season record at 6-6. Modern prevailed in the most competitive match of the day, posting a 7-5, 6-4, 11-9 win for his fifth individual win.
Will Lindsay and Zach White contributed two points apiece, combining for an 8-6 triumph at No. 3 doubles before posting straight-set victories at No. 5 and 6 singles, respectively.
Lindsay won his third consecutive singles match to improve to 5-8, while White ran his individual record to 5-6.
The Tigers improved to 6-8, winning for the first time this season when trailing after the doubles matches.
Colorado College plays its final home match of the season on Sunday against the College of Idaho at the Burghardt Tennis Courts.
