Matt Friesen scored a pair of goals, including the game winner in the sixth minute of overtime, as CU-Colorado Springs escaped with a 3-2 victory over Colorado College on Wednesday night at Mountain Lion Stadium.

Kyle Buchwalder gave CC a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute when he headed in a corner kick by Matt Fechter, but the lead vanished almost a minute later when Carlos Verdugo scored off Eric Goldberg's corner kick.

The game remained tied until Friesen struck for his first goal early in the second half, but this time it was the Tigers who notched the equalizer when Fechter converted on a penalty kick in the 66th minute.

Colorado College remains on the road this weekend with a pair of games in Salem, Ore. The Tigers play Willamette University on Friday night, and then have a matinee on Sunday against Whitman College.
