Colorado College falls at No. 5 Trinity

Box Score Colorado College gave No. 5 Trinity all it could handle on Friday night, but CC was unable to find the net and came out on the wrong side of a 2-0 decision at Paul McGinlay Field.

Zach Garcia snapped a scoreless tie 9:18 into the second half and Yuri Ribiero added an insurance goal with 11 minutes remaining in the contest to help TU improve to 11-0-2 overall and 6-0-0 in conference play.

Matt Cardone made three saves en route to his third shutout of the season. It marked the second time Colorado College was kept off the scoreboard this season. The first time was a 0-0 tie with Minnesota Morris on Sept. 5.

Trinity finished with a 15-11 edge in total shots, but had a decisive 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Brian Graf recorded six saves for the visiting Tigers.
  
CC slipped to 9-4-3 overall and 4-3-0 in the SCAC.

Colorado College completes its two-game visit to the Lone Star State on Sunday at Southwestern University.
