Nate Burt dominated his match at No. 1 singles, but Colorado College lost all three doubles points and dropped a 6-3 decision to Calvin College in its Spring Break finale in Orlando, Fla.
The Tigers split the three individual matches, but could not overcome the early deficit of dropping all three doubles contests for the fourth time this season.
CC pulled to within 4-3 after Nate Burt, Will Lindsay and Lionel Zen-Ruffinen won their singles matches, but Calvin clinched the team victory when the Knights prevailed at No. 2 singles.
Burt posted a dominating 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles to improve to 4-5 on the season.
Lindsay improved to a team-leading 7-2 by coming from behind for a 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 triumph at the No. 5 match.
Zen-Ruffinen was never seriously challenged during his 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
Colorado College takes a much needed break until April 5 when the Tigers return at action at Colorado Christian University.
