The Colorado College men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Carthage College in the last of its six matches over Spring Break on Friday morning in Orlando, Fla.
Robert Kasemodel and
Zach White each won their doubles and singles points to give CC its three points in the final competition of the week.
White and Kasemodel partnered for an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles to defeat Conor Moon and Alex McLean.
Kasmodel then beat McLean in singles play, winning 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 4 singles position. The freshman improved to a perfect 2-0 on the season at No. 4 singles and is now 7-1 this season in singles play.
White earned the final win for the Tigers after coming from behind to beat Brian Howes, 4-6, 7-6, 10-5 at No. 6 singles.
“This was a great trip for us, because we played well and learned a lot,” said head coach Todd Doebler. “Zach and Robert really played well today and they keep getting better with each match they play.”

Will Lindsay dropped a close 9-8 match to Nick Boomgarden and Matt Whiteside at No. 2 doubles. Burger then took his singles match to three sets, but fell short 3-6, 6-4, 10-8 to Boomgarden.
Colorado College dropped to 4-6 on the season and returns to Colorado to take on Colorado Mesa University on Sunday at 11 a.m. in Ken Caryl.
