Weekly Release No. 8 >Colorado College concludes its run of four consecutive Mountain West road games this weekend when the Tigers visit the University of Wyoming and Colorado State University. CC tangles with the Cowgirls at 3 p.m. Friday in Laramie, Wyo., and then will make the short drive to Fort Collins, Colo., to square off with the Rams on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Tigers are 6-3-3 overall and 2-1-1 in the conference after splitting a pair of games last weekend in hostile environments. Colorado College dropped a 3-0 decision at San Diego State University on Friday night, but bounced back to defeat the University of New Mexico, 2-0, on Sunday for its first road victory of the season.

Wyoming is 5-2-1 overall and 3-1-0 in the MW after splitting a pair of road games last week. The Cowgirls, 3-0 at home this year, dropped a 2-0 decision at Utah State on Friday, but rebounded for a 1-0 overtime victory at Boise State on Sunday.

CSU will take a 3-9-0 overall record and 1-3-0 conference mark into Friday's home game with Air Force. Last week, the Rams fell 4-1 at Boise State and 1-0 at Utah State.Â

Colorado College owns a 7-0-0 all-time record against Wyoming, which includes a perfect 5-0-0 mark in Laramie. The teams last met in 2010 with the Tigers prevailing by a 3-0 score at the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex. CC has outscored the Cowboys by a combined score of 15-3.

Colorado State is in its inaugural season at the Division I level. Colorado College and CSU played one game at the club level, with the Tigers recording a 3-0 victory. Â

With Sunday's triumph at New Mexico, head coach
Geoff Bennett tied Dang Pibulvech for first place on the program's career list with 119 victories. Bennett, now is in his 11th season at Colorado College, owns a 119-62-31 (.634) record with the program. Pibulvech set the top marks for both career victories and winning percentage with a 119-26-6 (.804) mark from 1983 through 1990.

Sarah Schweiss with five goals and 12 points. Senior forward
Rachel Herron is second with four goals and nine points, while senior midfielders
Jessie Ayers and
Kaeli Vandersluis each have three goals and a pair of assists.

Heather Seeley has started the last three games, posting a 1-1-1 record along with a 1.77 goals-against average and a .714 saves percentage.

The Tigers return home for their first games at Stewart Field since Sept. 28 next week. Colorado College plays host to UNLV on Friday, Oct. 17, at 3 p.m. MT, and then the University of Nevada on Sunday, Oct. 19, at noon MT.
