The Tigers improved to 8-11-1 overall and clinched the fifth seed for the MW tournament with a dramatic 3-2 victory at Air Force last Friday night. Colorado College, which will be playing at a neutral site for the first time this season, is 4-2-1 on the road, including a 4-1-0 mark in conference play. CC prepped for the tournament by playing three of the other five tournament participants in the last four games, including top seed San Diego State and New Mexico.

Wyoming, which clinched the fourth seed with a 2-1 win at Colorado State University, finished the regular season with a 10-5-4 overall record and a 6-4-1 mark in the Mountain West. The Cowgirls are 3-3-3 away from home this year. Regular-season champion SDSU improved to 14-4-0 overall and 10-1-0 in league play with Friday's 2-1 victory at third-place New Mexico.

Colorado College owns an 8-1-0 all-time record against Wyoming, which includes a 2-1 overtime victory at Stewart Field on Oct. 4. San Diego State holds a 3-1-2 lead in the series with CC after posting a 3-1 win at Stewart Field on Oct. 25. The Tigers and SDSU played to a 1-1 tie in the semifinals of the 2014 Mountain West Championship. The Aztecs advanced on penalty kicks.

CC, which earned a berth in a conference tournament for the fifth season in a row and the ninth time in 10 years, are 7-5-3 all-time at conference championships. Last year, the Tigers posted a 1-0-1 mark at the MW tournament by coming from behind to defeat Utah State University, 3-1, in the quarterfinals and playing eventual champion San Diego State to a 1-1 tie in the semifinals.

In 2013, its last as an affiliate member of Conference USA, Colorado College captured its first tournament crown by edging the University of Tulsa on penalty kicks in the first round, blasting East Carolina, 5-0, in the semifinals, and cruising to a 3-0 triumph over North Texas in the championship match. This year's senior class is 4-0-3.

The winner of Tuesday's CC-Wyoming game will face No. 1 seed and host San Diego State in Thursday's second semifinal match at 7 p.m. PT. The first semifinal will feature No. 2 seed San Jose State University against the winner of Tuesday's tourney opener between New Mexico and UNLV. All tournament contests will be broadcast live on the Mountain West Network. Tickets for all five matches are available through the SDSU ticket office.
