The Colorado College men's tennis team lost the first match of its 2015 Spring Break trip in Orlando, Fla., Friday 6-3 to Berry College. Berry swept the three doubles matches then the two teams split the six singles contests.

The Tigers were very competitive in the top two doubles matches as senior
Jack Burger and sophomore
Jason Gutierrez dropped an 8-6 decision to Inigo Flores and Logan Yerbey at the No. 1 spot and juniors
Ross Sherman and
Taylor Delehanty lost the No. 2 match, 9-7, to Chase Gooding and Michael Tucker.

In singles, Berry's Daniel Alligood defeated Sherman, 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 4 spot, while Tucker beat junior
Casey Shaw, 6-3, 6-1, at the No. 3 position to clinch the match. Gutierrez and Burger won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, while Delehanty downed Jacob Belcher, 6-0, 6-4, at No. 5.

The Tigers, now 1-3 this season, will face the College of Wooster on Saturday, March 14.
