Jack Burger and sophomore
Jason Gutierrez each won in singles and doubles Tuesday but it wasn't enough as the Colorado College men's tennis team lost to Luther College, 6-3, in Orlando, Fla. With the defeat, the Tigers fell to 2-6 this season.

Burger and Gutierrez led things off with an exciting 9-7 victory over Sam Cychosz / Anders Jensen at the No. 1 doubles spot. Luther took the other two matches, including a 9-7 victory by Quinn Foley and Isaiah Mayerchak over junior
Taylor Delehanty and
Jake Peterson at No. 2.

Gutierrez had a great singles match as well, defeating Cychosz at the top spot, 7-6, 7-5. Burger, meanwhile, won his seventh straight match at the No. 2 position, taking care of Trent Schneider, 6-0, 6-3.

Delehanty rallied from a set down to force a deciding set against Foley at the No. 5 spot before falling 6-2, 2-6, 1-0(7). Luther won the Nos. 3, 4 and 6 matches in straight sets to even its record at 6-6.

The Tigers wrap up their 2015 Spring Break trip on Wednesday against Bethel University at 8 am (ET).
