The Colorado College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Hastings College Sunday at Burghart Courts. Juniors

Taylor Delehanty posted singles wins for the Tigers.

Sherman won the No. 4 singles match, defeating Zach Inman, 6-4, 6-2, while Delehanty downed Leland Dexter, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5. The No. 6 match between CC freshman
Ben Bacher and Hastings' Ben Petry went the distance before Petry rallied for a 2-6, 7-6(4), 1-0(6) victory.

Hastings jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the doubles matches, then won the top three singles matches, two of them in straight sets. Senior
Jack Burger went to three sets at the No. 2 spot but fell to Isaac Mertens, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.

The Tigers will play Montana State-Billings at the Metro State Tennis Facility in Denver on Thursday, April 2, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
