Box Score Colorado College recorded its ninth shutout of the season, however it was unable to score a goal and settled for a scoreless tie against Texas Lutheran on Sunday afternoon at Stewart Field.

Playing in his final home game, senior goalkeeper Theo Hooker stopped all five shots that TLU put on target, including a diving save at the left post on a rising shot off the boot of Cameron Townes in the second overtime.

Hooker posted his eighth clean sheet of the season and the 34th of his career.

The injury-riddled Tigers had an apparent go-ahead goal taken off the board in the 71st minute when junior defender Keenan Amer was ruled offside after knocking home the rebound of a header by senior midfielder Joel Frykholm.

Texas Lutheran goalkeeper Brendan Soto made the play of the game in the 82nd minute when he dove toward the right post to deny Cam Stopforth's low shot from the penalty spot.  

Soto finished with seven saves, including a pair on shots by senior midfielder Tim Huettel in the first overtime.

CC finished with a 17-16 advantage in total shots, while the Bulldogs had a 10-9 edge in corner kicks.

The Tigers are 10-3-4 overall and 8-3-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and are locked into a third-place finish. They now face an imposing task of winning three games in three days at the conference championship in order to secure an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.

Colorado College plays its final conference game of the season on Friday at the University of Dallas.
