Box Score Sophomore forward Catie McDonald struck for a pair of goals in the second half, including the game winner with a little more than 19 minutes to play, to lift Colorado College to 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Air Force on Thursday night on the snow-covered grass at the Cadet Soccer Stadium.

Trailing 3-1 after playing into the wind and snow during the first half, McDonald gave the Tigers a shot of adrenaline when she took a pass wide on the right side, stepped around Falcon defender Alex Giggie, and beat junior goalkeeper Jennifer Hiddink with a curling shot to the back post.

Junior midfielder Lauren Milliet leveled the score in the 70th minute when she took a touch from junior forward Clara Richter on the left side of the box and slipped a shot inside the near post.

Just 76 seconds later, McDonald completed the first multiple-goal game of her career on a play that was nearly identical to her first goal.

Air Force appeared to be in control after Kaitlyn Cook struck for a pair of goals in the first half.

She put the Falcons on the board early in the 12th minute when her cross from the left side was blown into the far side of the net.

The junior forward made it 2-0 in the 31st minute when she found the upper right corner with a blast from 30 yards away after taking a touch from Kaylee Shalongo.

CC sliced its deficit in half with 14 minutes remaining before the break when Richter picked up a loose ball in the box and slid a shot from the left side under the hands Hiddink.

Less than two minutes after Richter's goal, freshman forward Jessica Groen restored Air Force's two-goal advantage when she scored for the first time on a blast to the upper right corner.

Sophomore goalkeeper Molly Hiniker made all three of her saves in the second half, including one on sophomore forward Bree Bezdek's shot from the right side of the box that she pushed past the far post.

Hiddink made four of her seven stops in the first half when the Tigers carried the run of play and outshot AF, 12-4.

She kept the Falcon's within a goal by making a glove save on Richter's shot in the 83rd minute and then a diving stop on freshman forward Hannah Burgo's blast from the left side 57 seconds later.
 
Colorado College finished with a 20-12 advantage in total shot and had a 9-7 edge in corner kicks.

With its seventh consecutive victory over the Falcons, CC finished the season with a 6-9-4 overall record and a 3-6-2 mark in the Mountain West.

Air Force, which could have locked up a berth in the conference tournament with a victory, slipped to 7-8-3 overall and 4-4-3. The Falcons can still earn a trip to Las Vegas if Boise State defeats Utah State tomorrow afternoon.
