The Colorado College men's tennis team wrapped up its 2017 spring break trip with a 9-0 victory over the University of Puget Sound Tuesday evening in Tacoma, Wash.

The Tigers swept through the three doubles matches, including an 8-6 victory by senior
Jason Gutierrez and freshman
Noah Forman over Joe McRoberts and Riley Inn at the No. 1 position. Sophomore
Daniel Holland and freshman
Logan Pepperl took the No. 2 match, 8-4, over Chris Severt and Chet Selis, while senior
Jack Benham and freshman
Kevin Barry defeated Jacob Kompolt and Ben Colson, 8-2, at the No. 3 spot.

Colorado College, which went 2-3 on the trip and is 4-6 overall, won five of the six singles matches in straight sets, while Benham rallied from a set down to beat Kompolt, 2-6, 6-1, 1-0(10) at the No. 4 position. Sophomore
Christian Kitchen saw his first action during the trip and defeated Rajan Grad-Kaimal, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 5.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, March 31 against Colorado Mesa at home beginning at 3:30 p.m.
