The Colorado College men's tennis team wrapped up its 2016-17 season Saturday afternoon with a 5-0 victory over Texas Lutheran in the fifth-place match at the 2017 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in San Antonio, Texas.

The fifth-seeded Tigers swept the three doubles matches, all by a score of 8-4. Senior
Jason Gutierrez and freshman
Noah Forman downed Eric Beckenbach and Connor Dunmore at the No. 1 position, while senior
Jack Benham and freshman
Logan Pepperl beat Ryan Beene and Carlos Subealdea. Sophomore
Daniel Holland and freshman
Kevin Barry defeated Alex Talley and Jacob Galindo at No. 3.

Colorado College clinched the team match with a pair of straight-set wins in singles. Pepperl defeated Beene, 6-0, 6-0, at the No. 3 position, then Barry finished off TLU with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Nick Roccaforte at No. 4. Â
