Joel Frykholm scored the only goal the Colorado College men's soccer needed six minutes into the game to help lead the Tigers to a 3-0 victory over Austin College on Friday night at Washburn Field.

Frykholm controlled Cam Stopforth's free kick in the center of the box and put a shot past goalkeeper Joseph Khalaf inside the right post.

Tim Huettel made it 2-0 in the 26th minute when he took a touch from Keenan Amer and slid the ball under Khalaf from eight yards away.  

Sam Bermingham put the game out of reach with his first career goal in the 78th minute. He intercepted a pass in the middle third and then launched a shot from 40 yards out in the center of the field that went in just under the cross bar.

At the other end of the pitch, the Tigers allowed just seven total shots, only one of which was on target.

Senior goalkeeper Theo Hooker made one save en route to his 29th career shutout and his third of the season.

CC finished with a 23-7 advantage in total shots and an 8-1 margin in corner kicks.

Khalaf stopped eight shots for the 'Roos, who slipped to 4-2-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the SCAC.  

Colorado College plays host to Centenary College on Sunday at 11 a.m.
