Colorado College looks to take advantage of its home-field advantage when it welcomes Utah State University and Boise State University to Stewart Field for a pair of matches during Homecoming Weekend 2018. CC plays host to the Aggies on Friday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. and the Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 14, at noon.

CC is 7-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the Mountain West after dropping a 3-1 decision at the University of Wyoming last Friday and battling Colorado State University to a 0-0 stalemate in Fort Collins on Sunday. The Tigers are 4-1 at Stewart Field this season where they have outscored their opponents 8-4.

Utah State is 2-10-1 overall and 1-4-1 in conference play after going 0-1-1 on the road last week. The Aggies played San Diego State University to a 2-2 tie on Friday and dropped a 3-2 result at the University of New Mexico two days later. The Aggies are 1-3-1 on the road so far this year.

Boise State, which sits atop the conference table with 16 points, will take an 11-2-1 record and 5-0-1 league mark into Friday night's game at Air Force. The Broncos are riding an eight-game (7-0-1) unbeaten streak after playing New Mexico to a 2-2 draw and defeating San Diego State, 1-0, on the road last week. Boise State is 5-2-1 away from home this season. Â

The series between Colorado College and Utah State is level at 2-2-3 after the teams played to a 1-1 tie last year in Logan. The teams also are even in the three previous meetings in Colorado Springs at 1-1-1.

Boise State has won the last two games against Colorado College and now holds a 3-2-0 lead in the series. The Broncos prevailed 3-0 in their last visit to Stewart Field, where they hold a 2-1-0 record, and posted a 3-2 victory last year in Boise.Â

Colorado College has conceded more than two goals only once this season. In fact, only three teams have scored more than once, including then-No. 5 Texas A&M on Sept. 7. The Aggies entered that game averaging more than three goals per game and had scored three or more on five of six occasions.

Utah State, which plays the third of four consecutive road games on Friday, averages 1.0 goals per game while conceding 2.0. Freshman forward Sara Noel leads the Aggies with four goals and shares the team high of eight points with sophomore midfielder Ashley Cardozo, who has a pair of goals and four assists. Cardozo owns both of her team's game winners. Senior Grace McGuire is 2-7-1 in goal and has a 1.80 GAA and .730 saves ratio.

Boise State, which leads the Mountain West in overall scoring, averages 2.0 goals per contest and allows just 0.86. Junior forward Raimee Sherle leads the conference with 17 goals, 34 points and eight game winners. Junior midfielder McKenna Kynett is second on the team with six goals, three assists and 15 points, while sophomore defender Kristina Serres leads the Broncos with seven assists. Senior goalkeeper Tara Fisher owns an 11-2-1 record along with a 0.92 GAA and .824 saves percentage.

Regardless of whether Colorado College plays on Stewart Field (grass) or Washburn Field (turf), the Tigers have enjoyed a significant advantage when playing at an elevation of 6,035 feet. Including its 4-1-0 mark at home this season, CC now is 254-58-28 (.788) in 340 all-time matches on its own campus. That includes a 94-29-15 mark (.736) at the two venues during
Geoff Bennett's 15-year reign as head coach.

Colorado College goes back on the road for its final regular-season games away from home when the Tigers visit San Diego State on Friday, Oct. 19, for their final night game of the year, and then New Mexico on Sunday, Oct. 21, for a noon start.
