Despite winning two of the three doubles matches, the Colorado College men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Division II Colorado Mesa University Thursday at Venezia Park in Colorado Springs.

The Tigers (4-14) captured the top two doubles matches, including an 8-3 victory at the top spot by sophomore

In singles, the Mavericks (6-17) turned the tables and won five of the six matches. Forman captured the only victory for the Tigers, rallying for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 win over Lindqvist at the No. 1 spot.

CMU's Farmen came from behind to beat Hum, 1-6, 7-6(5) 6-4 at No. 2, while Martin downed Kley, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 at No. 3. The Mavericks won the final three matches in straight sets.

Colorado College's weekend trip to Nebraska for matches against Coe College and Hastings College has been cancelled due to impending weather. The Tigers will close out the 2017-18 regular season on Sunday, April 15, against Metro State at home, beginning at 10 a.m.
