Stark-Ragsdale Strikes Twice as CC Falls

Freshman midfielder Skyler Stark-Ragsdale struck for the first two goals of his career, however it wasn't enough to get Colorado College a victory at No. 9 Trinity University on Friday night.

Trailing 3-0 with slightly less than 12 minutes to play, Stark-Ragsdale put CC on the board after taking a feed from sophomore midfielder Miles Montgomery and putting a shot past goalkeeper Jacobus McClure, who entered the contest a minute earlier.

Eighty seconds later, Stark-Ragsdale struck again after taking a ball from senior defender Keenan Amer.

Colorado College's comeback attempt ended in the 83rd minute when TU's Andrea Codispoti scored.

Codispoti struck again almost four minutes later to close out the scoring.

Trinity broke through in the sixth minute on a goal by Austin Michaelis, and the lead stayed at 1-0 until the home team was given a penalty shot 12:59 into the second half.

Wesley Mitchell gave Trinity a 3-0 lead in the 64th minute.

Junior goalkeeper Keller Mochel made five saves for CC, which slipped to 5-3-0 overall and 4-2-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

TU's Blake Lieberman stopped one shot before giving way to McClure in the 78th minute.

Trinity improved to 5-0-1 overall and 3-0-0 in the SCAC.

The team's meet for the second time on Friday, Oct. 26, in Colorado Springs.

Colorado College completes its two-game trip to southern Texas on Sunday at Schreiner University in Kerrville. The game kicks off at noon CT.
