A possible berth in the Mountain West Championship, a 10-win season and an eight-game winning streak against its cross-town rival are on the line when the Colorado College women's soccer team visits Air Force in the regular-season finale on Friday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m.
Â
In addition to defeating the Falcons, CC needs Colorado State to beat or tie Wyoming on Friday afternoon and Fresno State to do the same at San Jose State later that night. If all three results favor the Tigers, Colorado College would begin postseason play on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Boise State University.
Due to a change in venues caused by the recent winter storms, Air Force is unable to provide a video stream for Friday's game which will be played on the Academy's lacrosse field. Fans can follow the action via live stats.
Â
The Colorado College Office of Alumni & Family Relations is sponsoring a tailgate party at the U.S. Air Force Academy before the contest. Pre-game festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. and the game kicks off 90 minutes later. Contact Amber Jaynes at 719-389-6337 for more details.

The CC-Air Force rivalry produced some memorable results each of the last two seasons.
Â
Last year, the Tigers captured their first Colorado Cup championship and earned a berth in the 2018 Mountain West Championship with a 1-0 victory over Air Force at Stewart Field. In her final home appearance,
Lauren Milliet struck for the game's only goal in the 20th minute, when she chased down a long ball from midfielder
Lucia Costanza, and slammed a shot off the far post from the right side of the box.
Â
Colorado College's 4-3 victory at Air Force in the final game of the 2017 season will go down as one of the more memorable games in the series. Forward
Catie McDonald struck for a pair of goals in the second half, including the game winner with a little more than 19 minutes to play, to lift CC to 4-3 come-from-behind victory in a contest that kicked off in near blizzard conditions at the Cadet Soccer Stadium.
Â
Trailing 3-1 after playing into the wind and snow during the first half, McDonald gave the Tigers a shot of adrenaline when she scored in the 51st minute.
Lauren Milliet leveled the score 19 minutes later, and then McDonald completed the first brace of her career in the 71st minute on a play that was nearly identical to her first goal.
Molly Hiniker made all three of her saves in the second half to earn the victory in goal.
Â
The top six teams in the conference table qualify for the 2019 Mountain West Championship, which begins on Tuesday, Nov. 5, with a pair of quarterfinal games at Boise State University.
