The Colorado College men's tennis team capped its 2019 season with a 9-0 victory over Texas Lutheran University Saturday afternoon in the fifth-place match of the 2019 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in Denison, Texas.

The Tigers took a commanding early lead by sweeping the three doubles matches. Senior
Daniel Holland and junior
Noah Forman led things off with n 8-1 triumph over Mario Martinez and Jared Mason. Senior
Christian Kitchen and freshman
Jacob Adas followed suit by winning the No. 2 match, 8-6, over Jacob Galindo and Alex Talley, while sophomore
Alex Kley and freshman
Alex Wimer handled Nick Roccaforte and Eric Wendt, 8-2, at No. 3.

CC kept the momentum through the singles matches, winning five of the six in straight sets. Forman was off the court quickly after disposing of Martinez, 6-1, 6-1, at the top spot, while Holland downed Mason, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2.

Kitchen (No. 4), Kley (No. 5) and Wimer (No. 6) each won his match easily, then Adas rallied from a set down to defeat Roccaforte, 3-6, 6-4, 1-0(5), at No. 3 for the clean sweep.

The Tigers wrapped up the 2019 campaign with a 6-12 record.
