Ethen Frank scored twice and Western Michigan collected a pair of power-play goals as the Broncos defeated Colorado College, 5-2, Friday night at Baxter Arena.
Frank opened the scoring with just 47 seconds left in the first period with a one-timer from the left circle after CC's
Zach Berzolla was whistled for holding.

Bryan Yoon evened the game at 1-all just 1:23 into the second period when he poked in a rebound from the crease after WMU goalie Austin Cain stopped a shot by CC's
Jordan Biro. Biro picked up his second assist of the season, while
Patrick Cozzi notched his first helper of the campaign.
The Broncos responded with three goals during the remainder of the middle frame, including one by Jason Polin with 3.9 seconds left in the period that gave Western Michigan a 4-1 advantage after 40 minutes.
Frank made it 5-1 with his second goal of the game at the 12:20 mark of the third, and CC freshman
Jack Millar closed the scoring with a blast from the high slot on the power play with 14 seconds left in the contest.
Matt Vernon finished the game with 24 saves for Colorado College, while Cain stopped 30.
The Tigers return to action on Sunday, Dec. 13, against the two-time defending national champions Minnesota Duluth at 12 p.m. (CT).
