Box Score The Colorado College men's tennis team put up a good fight in all three doubles matches, but fell to Colorado Mesa University, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at Memorial Park.

The Mavericks jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches, but it wasn't easy. CC's
Jacob Adas and
Jack Delafield pushed Tyler Landen and Christian Albrechtsen before falling 7-5 at the No. 1 spot, while
Nicholas Bohm and
Joseph Dryer lost by the same score to Moises Cure and Thiago Nejm at No. 3.
August Knox and
Billy Taylor dropped the No. 2 match, 6-4, to Steven Howe and Jandre van Wyk.

Colorado Mesa won all six singles matches in straight sets, led by Abrechtsen, who defeated Delafield, 6-1, 6-1, at the top spot. Bohm played an outstanding first set at the No. 6 match, but fell to Nejm, 7-5, 6-1.

The Tigers are back in action on Sunday, April 11, with a pair of matches against Austin College (9 a.m.) and Metro State University (2:30 p.m.), both at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.
