The Colorado College men's tennis team fell to Hardin-Simmons University, 8-1, in the 2021-22 regular-season finale Saturday afternoon in Abilene, Texas.

The Tigers finished the regular season with an 11-9 record.

HSU jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches. CC's No. 3 team of
Jacob Adas and
Nate Beerman nearly won their match, but fell to Davyn Williford and Josh Lopez, 8-7(4).

Lucas Pastor posted the only victory for the Tigers, rallying to win the No. 4 singles match, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0(4) over Desmond O'Shea. Beerman and Kley each extended the No. 5 and 6 match, respectively, to three sets before losing.

The Tigers return to action at the SCAC Tournament next weekend in Kerrville, Texas.
