FOUR-MATCH HOMESTAND CONTINUES THIS WEEK
The Colorado College women's soccer team wraps up its four-match homestand with a pair of games this week at Stewart Field. The Tigers host Southeast Missouri State on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 6 p.m., and Texas A&M-Commerce on Sunday, Sept. 4, at noon.

The Tigers swept a pair of matches at home against Patriot League teams last week, beginning with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over defending Patriot League tournament champion and NCAA Tournament qualifier Bucknell on Friday. Trailing 1-0 in the second half, senior

Ava Risser, then sophomore
Kaelin Enga notched her first career game-winning goal in the 74th minute. On Sunday, CC rallied again, this time scoring the last three goals in a 3-1 victory over Army. Freshman
Erin Ewers scored the first two goals of her career and sophomore
Brett Tsamasfyros notched the first of her career as well.

TIGERS SWEEP MW PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARDS
With her brace against Army, Ewers was named the Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week by the Mountain West. Meanwhile, Morales earned the Defensive Player of the Week honor after scoring the second goal of her career and leading a defense that allowed just four goals in three games.
FOR THE RECORD
Colorado College is 3-1 after sweeping Bucknell and Army last week. Southeast Missouri State is 2-2 after splitting games with Missouri State (L, 0-2), and Columbia College (W, 1-0). Texas A&M-Commerce is 0-3 after losing, 2-0, to UTSA on Aug. 25. The Lions play at the University of Colorado on Thursday.
WINNING ALTITUDE
Regardless of whether Colorado College plays on Stewart Field or Washburn Field, the Tigers have enjoyed a significant advantage when playing at home at an elevation of 6,035 feet. Entering this weekend's games, CC is now 269-67-32 (.774) in 368 all-time matches on its own campus.

This is the first meeting against both teams for Colorado College.
A LOOK AT THE TIGERS
Ewers and senior
Adelaide Gaffney are tied for the team lead with two goals and four points. Freshman
Haley Williams, who leads the Mountain West with three assists, is one point behind. Senior
Ally Wakeman has appeared in all four games and has a 1.67 goals-against average and a .737 saves percentage. Sophomore
Zahra Cheeseman was in the net for the second half of each game last week and collected the victory in each. She has not allowed a goal in 90 minutes of action.
EIGHT NEWCOMERS JOIN THE SQUAD
Joining the 16 returners for the 2022 campaign are one transfer and seven freshmen.

SUDDEN IMPACT
Five of the eight newcomers have appeared in all four matches this season, and another two have played in three. Williams leads the newcomers with 168 minutes played, followed by Evie Biiggs with 120 minutes and
Shalom Prince with 115.
MOUNTAIN WEST PRESEASON POLL
The Tigers were picked 11th out of 12 teams in the Mountain West preseason poll as voted on by the league's 12 head coaches.
