Box Score Junior Andrew Kaelin won both of his matches and freshman Nick Anderson won his singles match on Thursday, but the Colorado College men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Division II Lubbock Christian University at City Park in Pueblo.
 
Kaelin and sophomore Nate Beerman captured the No. 1 doubles match, 6-3, over Kelly Giese and Braden Tipton. The Crusaders won the other two contests to win the doubles point.
 
Kaelin posted the Tigers' lone point with a come from behind 6-2, 3-6, 1-093) victory over Tipton at the No. 3 singles position.
 
Anderson also rallied from a set down at the No. 5 spot before defeating Sabri Laphitz, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0(6).
 
Sophomore Lucas Pastor put together a solid match at the No. 2 spot before falling to Giese, 6-4, 7-6(3) and the Crusaders won the other three matches in straight sets.
 
The Tigers return to action on Friday, Sept. 16, against St. Mary's University at City Park, beginning at 5 p.m.
