Box Score Sophomore Lucas Pastor won both of his matches and junior August Knox captured his singles match on Friday, but the Colorado College men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Division II St. Mary's University at City Park in Pueblo.
 
Pastor and sophomore Nate Beerman won the No. 2 doubles match, 6-2, over Ryan Koth and Rafael Macedo. The Rattlers won the other two contests to win the doubles point.
 
Pastor went the distance before defeating Nicolas Llosa, 7-5, 3-6, 1-0(4) at the No. 2 singles position, while Knox downed Sebastian Azcui, 6-2, 6-4 at the No. 6 spot.
 
Sophomore Aiden Little narrowly lost the No. 1 match, 6-7, 6-0, 1-0(8) to Oskar Irdoja at the top singles spot. The Rattlers won the other three matches in straight sets.
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Sept. 17, against Texas-Permian Basin at City Park, beginning at 9 a.m.
