The Colorado College men's soccer team clinched its first outright Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title since 2019 with a 3-0 victory over Austin College Friday in Sheman, Texas.

Wyatt Linggi scored and added an assist and
Will Bavier collected a pair of helpers as the Tigers won their ninth straight game and improved to 12-2-1 overall and 7-0 in the SCAC.

Alexander Ward had his penalty kick stopped by Austin goalie Everardo Garza in the 23
rd minute, but opened the scoring three minutes later. Linggi's shot from the left side clanged off the left post directly to Ward, who put home the rebound into an open net.

Linggi doubled the lead in the 36
th minute. He took a pass from
Will Bavier, moved to the middle of the field and beat 'Roos goalie Everardo Garza from the top of the box.

Bavier gathered his second assist of the match when
Connor Webster made it 3-0 in the 57
th minute.

"The game ended up being a little more wide open than I would have liked, but we did create a lot of scoring chances and were on the front foot for much of the game," head coach
Scott Palguta said. "Most important, though, is another shutout on the road."

Jasper Broad made three saves and collected his sixth shutout of the season.

The Tigers play their final regular-season match on Sunday, Oct. 29, against the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas, beginning at 1:30 p.m. (MT).
