Noah Laba scored two goals to lead 20
th-ranked Colorado College to a 7-1 victory over Minot State in an exhibition game Friday night at Ed Robson Arena.

Chase Foley added a goal and two assists and
Max Burkholder collected three assists for the Tigers, while goalie
Henry Wilder finished with 15 saves before giving way to
Jake Begley for the final 5:42.

Laba opened the scoring just 5:09 into the contest, then
Noah Serdachny and
Logan Will each notched a goal later in the opening frame to put the Tigers ahead 3-0 after 20 minutes.

Minot State, ranked No. 1 in the American Hockey Collegiate Association rankings, cut the CC lead to 3-1 with a goal by Reid Arnold 4-41 into the middle period.

The Tigers roared back as
Tyler Coffey scored from behind the net with a ricochet off MSU goalie Jake Anthony, then Laba gathered his second of the contest, this time on the power play, with 5:40 remaining in the second period.

Zaccharya Wisdom scored 3:20 into the third period and Foley closed out the scoring with a 5-on-3 tally just 1:26 later.

The Tigers outshot Minot State, 38-16, and were led by Wisdom and
Stanley Cooley with five shots apiece. CC won 71 percent of the faceoffs as Cooley was 14-of-22 and Serdachny was a perfect 10-for-10 on the dot.

Joey Moffatt led the Beavers with three shots and Anthony finished with 31 saves.

Colorado College travels to Minneapolis next week for a pair of games, Jan. 7-8, against No. 9-ranked Minnesota.
