Tigers Collect First WIn of Season Over UST

Box Score The Colorado College men's tennis team won its initial dual match of the 2023 spring season, 7-2, over  SCAC-foe University of St. Thomas Sunday evening at the Garden of the Gods Tennis Club in Colorado Springs.
 
St. Thomas jumped out to an early 2-1 by winning the top two doubles matches, each by an 8-7 score. The Tigers captured the No. 3 match as August Knox and Nick Bishop defeated Zhamlue Kuang and Hunter Kemball-Cook, 8-4.
 
In singles play, CC won all six matches, five of them in straight sets. Lucas Pastor lead things off with a 6-0, 7-5 victory over Rodrigo Yoskikata at the No. 1 position, while Knox rallied to beat Jace Ware, 5-7, 7-6, 1-0(8) at the No. 5 spot.
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, March 25, against the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash., beginning at 11 am (MT).
